So I'm looking at an 05 or 06 Tacoma with the off rd package, mainly for the Locking rear. If I'm going to be putting in a 3in lift can I save a little money and buy a truck that does not have the upgraded suspension of the Off rd package but also has a locking rear?

Basically I don't want to pay for a a better suspension set up to have it replaced.

    Any thoughts would be sweet.

I'm guess I'm a little confuse on all the models and options Toyota offers.

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
trd OR is the only way to get a locker from toyota.

    Or the Rugged trail edition.

your best resource is the toyota website. I know it is tons of reading but hopefully it will answer your questions. The sport comes with LSD and the offroad comes with an E Locker

    Good info, thanks.

Any suggestions for 3in lifts? I've read a lot of the sticky forums but want to hear from others.

get a good set of coil overs if you have the money. Search up and you will see what people have done with various budgets
