I have been using the Accessorides kit in my '07 with a Scangauge II for about 10 months with no issues.

I picked up one for the 20% off Friday. With the 2-way remote, it came to around $310 shipped.

Looks like the 12V solutions is $269, @Accessorides is $309 - but the Accessorides coupon code didn't work for me.

I can't use any obd2 product on mines while the remote start is plugged into it. I have to swap it out back and forth.

I even tried using splitters that have on off switch and it still doesn't work. I think it's cause they share a common wire that one is not reading the other and vice versa

    Anyone used the MPC kit?

Couple guys at work have it on their vehicles and its worked great for them. Non Toyota's.

Edit - it apparently isnt 100% plug and play like the 12V

I am still waiting on mine from the BF sale. It appears to be stuck in NJ and was shipped last week scheduled for delivery on the 7th. I have only seen the MPC version online but dont know anyone personally that has it. Cant wait to get my Accessorides to install and review.

Same here Mike, mines needs to come down to NC. I would think you would have had it in MD by now. Maybe the mail trucks dont have remote start and are taking longer to warm up. IDK but its getting cold here.

Just installed mine from accessorides, pretty easy minus the door lock plug. Works great!

Was the door lock plug just hard to get too? Did you get the 2way remote and if so where did you run or mount the antenna?

Yeah the door lock plug was just hard to get too, I ran the antenna along The A and put it right next to the rear view mirror. I’ll take a picture later today.

I have been starting/unlocking my truck from a desktop without every having to touch keys in my jacket or even unlock my phone and go thru the app.
Yes, I am epitome of lazy now.

I'm sure this logic can be used in other ways.
Anyway, you can start your truck from a desktop pc or laptop.
I downloaded a program called bluestacks that emulates an android on a desktop pc computer at work.
I installed the CL app for the 12voltsytems remote start.
The building shields cell phone reception and keyfobs pretty bad, so this method is pretty handy for me.

mine was stuck there for a while as well.

you can use the provided plastic pry to tuck the wire along the A pillar and then into the headliner. I would be watch the 12volt solution video for the install as well it was helpful.

Looks good. Did you just use some 3M tape? I wonder if that would fit behind the A pillar?
