Seems silly that you would have to carry an OEM fob in addition to this one, but the world today is one scam after another.
I’d like to know as well that this is a stand alone unit that locks/unlocks as well as starts the vehicle remotely.

One of our better sellers the kit comes with (2) 4-button remotes no need to carry the OEM any more the new one will control the locks and start. This kit can't be adapted for manual BUT we have a 100% plug and play for the manuals as well just need one in the Philadelphia/NYC area to test it on. There is currently no safe option like ours available so we would love to roll it out but need access to a truck!

Have you had any luck finding a truck to test this on? I'm not in the area but I would very likely be a buyer of a true plug and play kit for a manual taco

Just as a follow-up: I had emailed 12volt solutions about a plug and play kit for manual trucks in September and they said they were working on it but it wasn't ready yet. Based on their website today the kit now exists! Looks like 1 wire to connect and shows as out of stock for me, but finally something for MT owners that might be as close to plug and play as we'll get

I just installed the Accessorides remote start yesterday and it took me about an hour. Maybe 35-45 mins before ncluding dash removal and reinstall, and remote programming. Super easy to dpick the basic install. I think I have to go back in a connect a couple wires for flash and horn, but otherwise it’s functional with little cost and time.

Give me more details about dash removal. The bottom dash part under the steering wheel?

Yes. Super easy. Under the steering wheel and above the pedals. That's basically it.

There is a video on YouTube. I watched the first part of it for disassembly insteuctions and used the instructions sent with the starter for plugging in the 4 harness adapters. I was concerned I’d screw it up, but it’s pretty dummy proof. Hazard flash and horn require tapping of wires, but everything works otherwise.

Accessories is a member here. They should chime in with a video of install, showing components of the kit and pricing. I would bet the video would sell some units for them.

Did you get the 1000ft fob? Wondering if that should be good enough.

I just purchased the Remote Start from 12voltsolutions.com a month ago.. It's all plug and play and super easy to install. I love it.

Does the truck stay running when you open the door?

260 shipped sounds like a nice deal! Is your truck an automatic? I emailed 12volt about the manual kit and they said they were still doing some testing. Sounds like it’s probably marked OOS because it’s not ready for release yet.

Yeah it was 30% off and it said works on stock versions too. Mine is auto tho. I don't recommend stick shift as I have seen a car launch in gear from remote start. There's no way to know if it is in neutral or gear if you forget as most people park in gear
