Can someone w a 12volt.solitions long range remote fire a photo of it on here? The website shows 3-4 different ones, some look like cheap crap.
    Thanks

It’s not the cheapest I have ever used but not the best either. The range is just magnificent!

Is that the 2way? Lock etc also or just start? Like start it from inside work good range? I work in a jail so that might be a bit of a stretch... but in theory it should work

1 press is to lock, 2 presses to unlock all the doors and 3 sec press and hold to start. All presses return a beep except the remote start. It beeps 3 times and beeps once after the truck starts. I can start the truck from inside of Walmart from the backside of the store.

I wonder how Accessorides compares to 12Volt.Solutions. Both claim 100% plug&play while 12volt claims to be the "only" 100% plug&play.o_O

12Volt system only runs for 15 min. How long for the Accessorides version?

Also, range will vary as temps drop. 30F might give you a mile while -40F may require you to be right in front of your truck, defeating it's purpose. :p

I'd do 12volt because I want that leave it running and walk away feature. Keep the dogs in the truck whether it's hot or cold out w/o leaving my truck unlocked... I'd doubt anyone would steal a truck w 2 dobermann in there but who knows, dumb people are everywhere

I have the accessorides remote start and when I ordered it I requested them to extend the run time. It runs for 35 minutes which I believe is the max. It was also 100% plug and play.

This, and the PitStop mode is a game changer - I dont think any other remote start offers that

35 min. sounds good. Currently -35F @1PM w/overnight lows around -40 the next 3 days. Cars can freeze up in 2 hrs if not plugged in.

@13mgm4X4, is that something you have to request or will it come with 35 min. run time?

Does the accessorides maintain the factory remote or does it also replace it like the 12volt?

Prestige car alarms used to be made by Audiovox, I don't know if they still are.

I received my new Remote start kit from 12volt. Completely removed the old kit (Harness+Module) and reinstalled the new kit.

Yes now all my doors unlock!

I had to request it. The default time is 15 min which I feel is too short to warm up the truck enough sometimes. When I ordered I requested it in the note or comment section when placing the order. I do wish I would have had them change the unlock function to one click for all doors. Right now one click opens the driver then you have to hit it again to unlock all the other doors.

That is the best way. If you unlock and all 4 doors unlock with 1 click some crack head can open a passenger door and rob you, etc... it's a security feature and I would not want all 4 doors to open on 1 push.

I think we are talking about two different systems. After reading thru the post's.
    I think 12volt unlocks all 4 with 1 push?
And I think the Accessorides operates like most factory alarm systems?
Can someone with each system confirm?

I prefer the 1 push driver's door and 2push to open all four, But the Pitstop feature with the 12volt system is pretty cool.
