    hey everyone,
So there’s an opportunity to scoop up a 2nd gen rear axle from a 2010 Tacoma with a rear e-locker. Anyone know if there are any issues with swapping it over to the 3rd gen?

I have an 17’ SR5 and that would be a pretty sweet easy swap vs spending a lot on an air locker..

I know my current rear end is a 8”, how about the 2nd gen?

    Thanks in advance!

It’ll be able to swap axles no issue then hook up a 12v switch to the locker you’ll be good to go.

    Sweeeeet. Thanks bro.

    Uhh one more question, lol.
I’m currently geared to 4.88’s..if that rear end is a 8” as well, I could swap the 3rd members? Or would I have to order a different gear set since it has an e locker?
