    Hi all,

I'm looking to get a locker on the 04 PreRunner. From what I've been able to find, the 1st gen TRDs with e lockers came geared in 4.10, but 2nd gens used 4.56, which is what my truck has currently. If I understand correctly the rear axle is even the same width between 1st and 2nd gens.

Is there anyone who has swapped a 2nd gen axle onto a 1st gen or knows if it is possible without going to more trouble than it's worth?

    Thanks in advance

the differential of an e-locker will indeed swap right over to the first gen axle. No second gens came with 4.56 gearing, either with or without e-locker axles.
