    I remember working with someone who had a jeep with a tubing roll bar made of pvc.

    I’ve see far worse, pretty good for only 3 weeks practice. You achieved fusion, you did well.

    A tip, get it setup, trace the path the tip will need to take before pulling the trigger. That’ll tell you if you need to reposition the lead or your hands.

    I’ve been welding for about 35 years. Around 5 years ago I learned, cheaters, now I put the weld in the groove instead of next to it. Cheaters, for us old dudes who don’t see as good anymore.

    How much steel did you end up needing for the whole finished bumper including hitch and gussets? As well as, what kind of steel did you use?
