Hi there. New to the forum so bare with me.

The last couple days I have been digging the internet to see what it would take to swap bucket seats into my 2009 regular cab that currently has the single bench seat. (I am determined now lol) This is my daily driver and the bench seat is really killing the experience for me.

From what I have grasped, I just need to find bucket seats from a wrecked extended cab or regular cab (that has them) and the holes for the brackets are already pre-drilled from the factory. That is all fine, however the problem is the wiring.

I do not want to void any warranties I have by tripping a light. There is not much info out there about the airbag light. If I shop 2009 and up, are the seats all plug and play? Will the harness plug into the new seats I get?

Also, if anyone can answer how I go about getting a center console, like the one I provided an example of below. I have a manual transmission and need a center console that can adapt to that. The center consoles in extended cabs have cupholders on the rear of them and I am concerned that it will not fit/ and or look dumb in a regular cab. I am also not sure that the center consoles that came in the regular cab have cupholders on the rear of them as well? If they did, then that answers that question and should be good to install. Any advice here would be appreciated.

If there are any good YouTube links that I did not see that answers these questions please drop a link!

Thank you in advance! I attached examples to look at. The second image shoes the cupholders I am talking about.

Wow, I am trying to do the same thing. Just bought a set of buckets from a 2014 crew cab. Mine is also a manual transmission. I figure the console will be the biggest problem. Been doing a lot of searching.

My guess is if you have seat side airbags in your 2009 bench (there is a little stitched on tab on the side that will say so) then get bucket seats with side airbags. But I can only guess. I’ve messed with airbags and seat swaps on my 13 double cab that I have since sold. Little different from going bench to buckets.

that is a great link, however no one seems to know how to put 2014 buckets into a 2013 regular cab with manual transmission and deal with the seatbelt & air bag differences. Looks like they used a different behind the dash module.
I have the wiring diagrams for bench & buckets. Drivers seat may work except for seatbelts. Passenger seat has completely different wiring.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
