I hope that works in a variety of temps.
Slept in my shell with mesh windows fine for some time, low as 10deg up to 80-90deg
getting rid of heat was more of a challenge (later got a fan) than layering in cold - but being fiberglass the side vented windows were pretty big and was in an area that somewhat cooled at night

yeah i see you quoted me before i finished editing and correcting typos and adding a few more comments but yeah, ive slept in utah at 9200 feet in the snowfall at -10F and ive also slept in death valley late summer but it was still quite hot 110. i agree that yeah i have more problem cooling it than keeping it warm if i had trouble anywhere, but really i wouldnt say ive had any trouble getting it to maintain a comfortable temp inside and i dont run any portable heater or anything. just the battery fan only if i really want airflow to keep moving because i predict itll be a night where condensation will be more likely.....really, id say its as stable as the fibreglass cap i had before and we just adjust body temp as required by being inside or outside the sleeping bag as required and the bag being on top of the 6 inch mattress in a zippered protective cover to make sure it doesnt mildew from air moisture. i keep that mattress back there 24/7 even when not camping and after two years there is no mildew nor has it gotten dirty, the cover has gotten dirty of course but cleans easy and so does the sleeping bag obviously... but the insulation and carpet i installed made all the difference and works great, the main thing its doing is stopping the condensation that forms when using any metal kind of shell but it does keep temps stable and warmer when cold and cooler when warm... as good as my fiberglass cap did.

Is there a major difference between the RSI for the Gen2 and Gen3 as far as fit or did RSI do like AluCab and just use the same one for the Gen2?
