2nd Gen Seat Cushion

Anyone have a lead these?

The foam cushion in the drivers seat is worn all the way down to the metal frame. The seats aren’t amazing to start but this is much worse. I have some nice new seat covers and would love to get a new cushion. Denver area salvage yards aren’t helpful and everyone wants to sell the whole seat (I understand that).

I can find reasonable prices for GM and Ford seat cushions but Tacoma’s are like $180.

 

The seat takes 2 mins to swap. Why not just buy a seat?

 

Yeah the seats are super easy to swap. But then I got to get rid of the one I remove and I would rather not pay $300 for a seat if all I need is a cushion.

I do understand the odds are I’ll need to get a whole new assembly. Just hoping the good people of Tacomaworld might know something I don’t.

 

Kinda pricy for some foam, $217. Maybe the salvage yard has a seat you can take the foam from.

Find a local upholstery shop that does nice hot rods and high end marquees.

They will have a much higher grade foam available.
