Has anybody put 2nd gen seats in a 1st Gen?

or for the money would rather put a differnt brand like Beard, PRP Etc.

Looking for a more comfortable seat for DD My seats are worn and I'm getting tired if them since I drive my truck everyday

Opinions and Pictures would be cool

The bolt pattern for the slider mechanism may be different as the trucks certainly are but if you measure the bolt holes on the bottom of the seats where the slider bolts on you may find them the same so you could use the 1st gen sliders and the 2nd gen seats. I went thru this a few years ago when replacing seats on one of my other vehicles and I was surprised how many even from different companies had the same dimensions, finding a matching colour was tougher.

Yeah I know they dont bolt directly.

And i was thinking that same thong that possibly the 1st gen slider would fit on a 2nd gen. So I'm gonna look into it. Thanks for the info
