Anybody know what grommets hold on the plastic on the 2nd gen rear bumper...and assuming they break when I pop it off, anybody outside of the dealership sell them

Going to pull it up and give the chrome bumper cheap spray job

Having replaced my rear bumper, I can assure you that if you're careful and remove everything when it's at least half way warm outside, you should be just fine. I do happen to have a spare set of almost all of the plastic pieces if you do break anything though.

Hey, thanks for the offer, I'll try to be careful and heat them up first. But I appreciate the tips and the offer if needed

The top pads or plastic pieces pop off and have no clips. They pop off from the back. The main ones you just push out from the back side. The two smaller ones on the corners have a little cam you turn from the backside and they pop off. Only the center piece they had those caps as clips and the pied by the plate has those little tiny ones.
