    didn't consider vacuum but the Facet 40171 is rock solid reliable and is used as a transfer pump on aircraft transfer tanks which is why I wouldn't hesitate to use it , they are available from Aircraft Spruce and Supply

    Looking into them, this does look like a pretty excellent solution. The Facet does have a positive shut off valve which "should" hold vacuum.

    14 double cab taco
    i run dual facet pumps in parallel (with only one on at a time and other as a backup) and they hold vacuum very well. zero issues with that.
