Hptuners with a dyno and street tune performed by a local tuner will be your best bet for a true tune. All tunes deviate based on your geographical location and many other variables such as fuel availbility in your area.

Operating the engine below 2,000 RPM and then abruptly transitioning to WOT with a gear lock file places considerable strain on the engine, increasing the risk of premature wear or potential damage to vital components such as rod bearings. We generally aim to start our runs right around 2K RPM depending on application. We're manually sampling (pressing the "record" button) and going WOT, which isn't always going to start exactly at the same time, so the data at the very beginning of the runs is not a direct apples-apples comparison as the small differences in start RPM, or when the dyno was triggered to start the sample can impact the way the power ramps in as the torque converter flashes.

Long way of saying - I can't edit the curves of the runs previously posted. :)

But yes, the tune will greatly enhance the towing performance of your 2nd Gen. It has been put through the ringer towing at high elevation in the mountains of UT. Tows my SxS wonderfully!

Does your tune have a noticeable impact on MPG? I have a Supercharged 2013 DCLB 4.0 Auto - with all my overlanding gear I'm getting below 11 MPG and that's with deliberate "grandpa" driving. More interested in improving economy than performance at this point.

I believe you could see better due to our transmission tuning. Most of the ones we do see mid-teens configured as you are - though I make no promises on what you will see as that's dependent upon far to many variables outside my control

By no means am I expecting any miricals in terms of gained MPG from a tune but once I finish chasing down the sources of this recent drop I might be interested in finding some extra gains. ;-)

Pretty sure OTT has tunes for a couple 2.7L configurations although I would expect the gains on a stock 2.7L to be negligible, check with @JustDSM
