What kind of idiot had a plasma cutter and didnt use it for the front 2 crossmembers?...me. Once I get this one out I can tack on the link brackets to the frame. I am pretty sure I have everything laid out correctly ready to cycle.

Welded on the panhard bracket to the frame and cut and welded links and panhard. I think I’m going to pick up some solid 1”x3”x7”steel to make pads for my link brackets to sit on. With my frame at 22” right now and with my ruffstuff link brackets at 2”to center of bolt it only allows for 3” upteravel before the link hits the frame but with a pad I will gain maybe 1 1/4” uptravel. Little by little...

Solid stock to pad the links off the frame. I think this will help keep the ride height lower.

Lower links and brackets are on. Spotted the upper link bracket and it looks like it’s going to clear the frame and motor mount.

All links and brackets are in place. I’m working on full bump. I am taking off the passenger side header to make a cut on the neck above the cat to bend it away from the upper link. I need to cut the flange off and rotate it 90 degrees on the lower side of the cat. That will clearance everything and then I can focus on my panhard bar. It will need a bend around the housing to align properly with the drag link.

I cut my links all the same at 40” center eye to eye of heim. Center line of my lower link mounts are 5” past the weld line in the frame. I’ll take more pics later.

Everything is going to clear. I took the passenger side header out to modify it a bit for clearance on the upper link. I need to make a new panhard link with a bend around the housing.

Cut,bent, spun the flange and welded the header so it would clear the upper link.

Nice. It definitely gives AAE113EC-5EDB-4EC1-80A5-FFB65D184B3B.jpg E7F8BFDB-B4C0-4DD1-9C63-024C22BC81E0.jpg 7ED10D09-528C-483A-BC4A-5C889E08292F.jpg more room for max stuffage.
i also had to modify the bracket to get it back in place. My flange studs are fully fucked though... I tried to put the nuts back on and it shredded the studs. Always something.

Ordered sky off-road chromolly straight pitman arm. I need to get the steering shaft from the steering box to steering wheel. I will need to hole saw and sleeve the Barnes shock tower to clear room for the steering shaft so I can’t weld on the towers yet. I am Waiting for shocks also and Need to make a new panhard link. I feel I have been making decent progress but it seems a little snowbally right now too. Lots of loose ends. Most important right now is to get these steering issues dealt with and panhard and then things will get to the next stage.

The master cylinder or brake solenoid(whatever the fuck it’s called) on Passenger side needs to at least temporarily be moved to cut for the shock tower. I used a step drill bit to drill out the spot welds on the bracket to remount afterwards.

I was trying to figure out my towers if I was going to buy different ones but I decided to weld onto the Barnes towers to get the correct eye to eye measurements at full bump. 24.5” for king 14” Coilovers
