2nd Gen Tacoma, 3rd Gen Color? Desert Tan Mica to Lunar Rock

    Hey everyone,

    I have a 2006 tacoma and I'm looking to bring a bit of life back into my truck with a new paint job. I'm looking to do something a bit new, and change up the color completely.

    Does anyone know where I can purchase Lunar Rock paint to paint my truck?

    I've looked online and the only thing I can seem to find is from a company called "Everstate Auto Motive" where they say the color code is 6X3 OEM
    $15 00258-006X3-21 Touch up Paint Lunar Rock
    00258-006X3-21    . However, at least online, this color appears more like "Cement" than "Lunar Rock."

    Thanks for any help yall can provide.

    Maybe check with a body shop? My local one matched the paint on my last truck perfectly after an old lady crashed into me.

    My other thought would be a company like ARE or Leer; they have to match all the colors for their caps so they may be able to tell you where you could purchase the paint. Not sure if they mix it themselves or buy from somewhere else.
