Looking for some help to figure out an issue that’s happening with my 4x4. What’s happening is when the undercarriage of my truck gets wet my 4x4 electrical system completely quits. No light will flicker on the dash for 4x4 and the actuator does nothing. The only thing I found that will get me out a pinch is if I have the truck running turn the dial to the 4hi position then pull the 4x4 fuse out and plug it back in. Then the 4x4 will engage. After I leave the truck to dry out over night then everything will go back to normal.

No water that I’ve found anywhere.

You may want to check the vent hoses on the 4wd actuators as well, if they are cracked or disconnected they will get water in them.

I just took the actuator cap off and had a look inside of it. Nothing looks out of the ordinary. No water, no rust, and no corrosion. Still had factory yellow grease in it.
