2nd Gen. Tacoma Bed Bar Feeler

i've been thinking about making some sort of way to feed the wire inside the bar, then it would pop out at the edge so you can run the wires along the bottom of the rail. making it almost hidden

 

that would be slick dude. people would give their first born child for something like that.

 

If i were to get on I'd make the cable a quick connect to the light(s) because then you could take it out or put it back in super easy.

hey guys, so Alex (amaes) told me about an idea he had for put bike fork mounts on the bed bars. I think i could do that pretty easy, so for anyone interested, I can add that to a light bar for around 10$ for 2 bike mounts?

just throwing that idea out there.

also, i'm ganna make a way add hi-lift mounts onto the bar. so for those interested there is another option!

Hi Matt- I just paid for the bar via Paypal. Looking fwd to it and organizing my hi lift jack... bet some folks in the high country will need a high lift jack with 2-4 feet of snow forecasted for 7500ft and above! MAJOR WINTER STORM TODAY & TOMORROW!

If you could let me know when it ships that would be great and I'll snap some pics for the folks on TW to see all done up with the jack.

Dumb question but how would you mount the highlift? I saw the pic in the earlier post but wheat are the attachments

I've got one of the jack mounts made, so now it wont take long to do the other one.

TucanV13- The mounts will look kinda like an "H" with a bolt going up though the midde. The jack lays on top of the horizontal piece and the bolt goes through it, then you just tighten a nut with a washer to hold it in place.
