How much for one of these? Are you still planning on making sliders for us AZ people?

one bed bar like that is 50$.

and i might be able to make you sliders, although they'll just be a standard design. The double bend takes too much time to make w/o a jig and a notcher.

Plus only the cool people get that design.

An easy design is something with square tube because you don't need a bender and square is super strong.

Damn, I would love to get the design like you made for amaes How much would you charge for sliders? Can you make them in a bolt-on design?

Good price for the bed bar!

not sure if i can do bolt on. i'll explore that option and see if i can make it strong enough.

the sliders will probably cost about $320

i'm down to make them for local AZ people :)

i just don't market them very well . I'm down to build just about anything, and it'll be cheaper than what the fabrication shops will charge.

since i'm just making stuff in my garage people basically just have to pay for the materials, effort and time that i put into making it. The real reason why i'm building bed bars or skid plates is because I want to get better at fabricating and designing things. so the best way to do that is to build whatever people want, that way i can get as much experience on my own that i can hopefully use later as credit saying that i have experience in that field of work.

so far i've made great progress since i've only had a welder since january

You should make a photo gallery on the first post and post everything you have built and have your customers send you pictures of the items getting use ;)

Yeah I'm going to wash the truck today and paint them :)

no, i forgot to take a picture of it.

but it was basically just a 1" square tube bed bar. the buyer already had the attachments, so i just had to make a bar that bolted into the bed rail
