2nd Gen Tacoma Fenders and Bedsides Help

If I want to run 315/70r17 tires with 3 inch lift how much wheel offset would i want to make it look good with the 6" bulge fenders and bedsides on tacomabeast.com? Would I have to get long travel suspension for it to be wide enough for these fenders? Should I just go with different fenders and bedsides that are a little bit less wide if i want to keep the suspension almost stock except for 3 inch lift?

 

6" is a really big bulge. Id run a 2" or 4" glass with a -25 or -38 offset to look some what filled. If you use a big offset your gonna rub alot unless you chop everything

 

6" is probably too much so I would just run 4". I looked online at different wheels that would fit a 315/70r17 tire but the most offset i could find is -38. I don't know if it would be enough offset. Just saw a local guy on Facebook put on 37s without glass. If you’re worried about clearance, there’s a lot you can get away with some trimming and a cab mount chop. I would prob only run glass with long travel.

Wait thats only -12 offset??? maybe -38 should be enough with the glass fenders and bedsides i want to get that baja truck look.

 

Does anybody here have experience with the bfgoodrich all terrain ko2 tires? i might consider buying those

 

Are you running maxtrac spindles? If so it should be noted those increase your track width up front 3/4” per side

 

Great tires, I've run them for years. Hard to beat for a daily driver you wheel- great off road performance, pavement driving and durability. Plus they're winter tires (but not snow tires). Unless you need mud tires, I wouldn't buy anything else- they're not much more expensive than comparable tires now.

 

The problem with the baja look is no matter what wheels or fenders you have your lower control arms make it look weak sauce.

4 inch glass, 3.5 Long travel. No wheel spacers on 0 offset

+6 glass is for the +4 long travel

I was considering long travel but it is too expensive and i heard that its maintenance is also expensive and it makes a lot of noise when driving with long travel.
