So after a lot of reading on here it seems like Retro fit headlights are the way to go. I don't really want to buy aftermarket headlights to have condensation issues. I also don't really want to retro fit myself or tinker with some aftermarket headlights to reseal them. I have found a few people that sell retros notably @kustom54lighting seem to be the most recommended which may end up being the route I go if there is not a good solution.

I really like the look of the headlights that have the light bar as pictured. As I stated above don't really want to deal with possible issues and overall crappy quality lights from an aftermarket. Is there anyone that makes a retrofit that has this? Doesn't have to be exactly this I just like this style a lot more than the halo look and am getting really tired of my fogged up and burnt headlights. download.jpg

Well unfortunately that’s the situation I’ve been in for the past couple years. I love the look and DRL function of many aftermarket housings but after having multiple I can personally say the light output is trash. I’ve had the lights you included here and it’s the same thing, great look with terrible performance. I’m in the process of retrofitting some housings now with quality projectors. It was only after I bought the parts that I saw a company retrofitting those housings with the DRL bar. A little pricey but what do you expect from some decent retrofits. Here’s the link:

Thanks for sharing! Did a little searching not finding any people post of their experiences with them on a Tacoma. I’m sure I can use any old headlight install instructions. I’d be curious if anyone has any experience with them that they could share.
I also see you can do the tacomabeast headlight housing instead of oem. They must go in and seal them up?

Yeah, I didn’t see any personal experience with them either. I would imagine the OE instructions would work unless there’s some extra halos or something you’d need to splice for.
Yeah, it looks like he just cracks them open and actually retrofits a quality projector in. I was planning on doing it with those housings but didn’t want the fuss so I just went with some nice OE housings to retrofit in.
