Ya work has been an odd schedule for me too. If I get off work at a normal time I'll try to do it. I've been meaning to do quite a bit of stuff on the ole taco but time hasn't been on my side.

I wasn’t able to find my calipers, but I do have a standard/metic tape measure. Going by what @asgardengineering had posted on his measurements I would say it’s VERY close if not the same for bolt measurements. I tried my best to go center to center of each stud. If I find my calipers I will do the measurements again. My concern is the shape of the outside.

As you can see it looks like the top to the forward most lower stud is right at 84mm like the hilux.

The forward to aft lower studs are 40mm, again the same as the hilux.

Lastly is the aft stud to the top stud. It appears that it’s around 74mm in the photo, but when looking at it straight on I believe it to be 76mm. Especially since it is a triangle after all.

Finally, here are some exterior photos to hopefully assist in our endeavor for “blind spot” mirrors like the euros have.....at least that’s my goal.

    Absolute gold, thanks @TacoFergie!

Aye, that's my main concern as well. Drilling a couple new holes for the bolts would be easy, but reshaping that exterior plastic triangle piece would be a huge pain. I wonder if @asgardengineering has access to any Hilux mirror assemblies so we could get some measurements of said plastic piece? Or, perhaps a picture of the electrical connector that the Hilux uses, so we can compare against what the Tacoma has?

Here is a photo of the Clearview mirrors on a SOF Hilux (photo from toyotasofwar).

Outside shape, it does look different. It does look similar enough where some trimming may make it work.

Ok....so I did some searching on the interwebs. The pictures I grabbed are from a salvage yard in the EU or something. They are quoted for 2005-on.

From what I'm seeing is that the forward edge on the Hilux is curved rather than angled like the Tacoma. But I'm wondering if the mirror assembly where it folds would bolt to our mount......
