    Just because "normal" pavement-pounding F-150s run this setup, doesn't mean a Raptor should. It has most of the same drawback as lift blocks. The 2nd Gen. Tacoma also uses outboard shocks, without needing such an awkward arrangement.

    i agree. but i also understand in needing to design an inherent design limitation to keep the average Joe from thinking he's Robby Gordon while bombing through the desert. it's still a great setup and performs exceptionally well for a production vehicle straight from the factory as is.
