@tacotunner06 ah bummer. Let me get back to you on when I'll come down. With work, it's looking like I'll come down in the New Year but I'll see if I can come down next week if you are around?

Fuel tank is out. The 2 band that hold the tank up were pretty stuck in there due to rust. I had to cut the bolts out on the frame side due to it snapping the square nut in the frame.
By the time I had done that I was over the cold. Back at it tomorrow.

Very glad I live in AZ. It was 70 degrees today, and there is no rust anywhere on my truck, after 280k miles.

Oh to have it just 10C warmer would be lovely! Well, thanks to the PNW climate and the truckloads of salt that hit the roads here plus Toyota's terrible frame design that leads to rust I'm being forced to do this when I wish I didn't have to. I don't think I'll drive the truck in the winter once it's rebuilt.

Slowly getting it all pulled down. I’ve been snapping more bolts than I anticipated with the tear down.

Tomorrow will be a prep day mostly for the lower pivot kit / UCA gussets and rear SUA setup.

Wow Nice! 454 Motorsports is wrapping up my DMZ SUA kit right now! Such a neat process. He also burned in the DMZ Frame boxing kit, but one neat thing he did was dimple died it for extra strength. IMG_1920.jpg

I'll take some today for you. Overall the whole frame is slowly peeling away.

Looking good dude!! I would like to get a frame boxing kit as well seeing as the whole thing is apart. We have a local shop up here that sells one so I'll probably grab one from them.

Here’s a few of the culprits. It’s definitely not the worst I’m sure but still a pain to have had to deal with.

Had a good day cutting and grinding all the rear suspension mounts off and did the same to the LCA pockets as well.
This would suck to have to do on the ground.

Yeah those are nasty holes. My frame looks similar unfortunately...

You should do a cab mount chop ahead of time as well. I have our custom plates here if you need

In the first picture, you can see the rough outline of where the frame was patched prior to me buying it.

I probably should seeing as how easy it is to access it the mount.
