It’s a very very tight under the hood. Not a lot of wiggle room to work with.
Fortunately @tacotunner06 had already figured that out so it’s a bolt in affair. Engine cage kisses the hood and the UMP isn’t far off.

Does anyone know or can measure there truck to see what the available space is between the core support mounts?
For reasons mentioned above I’m not close to my truck to measure.

Trying to work out if this radiator would fit in the truck.
It’s a griffin cross flow rad cu-58272-ts 31x19x3 dual fan.

Yeah those cute furry things can take up a lot of time!

Ok Chris, fess up about the air cleaner/s

I don’t have the truck here now but here’s the OEM radiator.
I see the radiator is a dual flow radiator too. Nice‼️

Dual Donaldson pcd filters, they didn’t fit until I went to a one piece front end.

Super fascinating read. Cheers @Camazon for working through injury and the cold of the great white north! I'm a baby and don't want to change out steps to rock sliders in the US North East when there's snow on the ground. Threads like these are what make TW special, aside from the regular shitposting. Kudos to tacotunner, Pittsy and WormSquirts too (and all y'all swappers).

Thanks! Trying to have a more condensed thread so I’ll try and do more frequent but bigger updates with as much info as I can.
Yea it’s been a bit a challenge going from freezing temps to melting highs in the summer here. But it’s gotta get done haha.

@Camazon as long as it fits between the headlights and doesn't hang too low, we can make it fit since you're building your own core support anyway

This was my concern that it would either be right up against the headlights or hanging out down below.
