    Yeah I have, plenty... I was set on painting these steelies black but I'm leaning towards some stock aluminums in black. I'm going to paint the roof rack black, I know that.
    Thanks.:D It was just over a G before tax. That was with a windoor on the right side and the rack. Would've been around $850 I think stock, which comes with sliders, tint, and carpet. Pretty nice value and I really like the light weight. Now if they can get my windoor fixed....:rolleyes:

    Wow
    That’s great I have to look into one of those shells. Had a fiberglass but I need to remove it half the time so I want something light and easy
    Black rims would look really good

    Yes, mine is pretty commercial looking, & I'm a old guy, (so I don't care) I purchased used, like new, perfect color match and the price was right (don't recall), easy on & off (although I don't take it off) I am not really a "cap" type person but the pros out weigh the cons (imop)[IMG]

    Nice one. You've got a little extra height and the racks, that's good. I'm with you. I think the positives outweigh the negatives as well. I like the security and the dryness.

    Can anyone send a link or URL for this diamondplate aluminum shell? "Roy'El" isn't turning up anything at all.

    Where abouts are you located?
    You can also contact Canopy World, they are up here in the northwest.

    I went down this road. The only info I could find on RoyEl was through Canopy World Inc. who sells them and is in the PNW. They were not very helpful, here's their reply;

    [Unfortunately we do not have a dealer outside Washington and Oregon and are unable to ship our products nationwide. We are also unaware of any canopy dealers near you as to what they offer. If any further questions please email back. Thanks and have a great day.]

    They wouldn't give me any contact info for RoyEl and I'm in NY so...dead end.

    I am looking for a canopy just for road trips to sleep in. The rest of the time I will take it off. I have the 5’ bed. These Royel shells look promising since I don’t want to spend 2k. And I live in Wa state so should be easy to find. Thanks for the heads up.
