    Trying to buy my son a 2nd Gen Dbl Cab 4x4Lb auto. I have found several with around 90 to a 100,000 miles, what is the life expectancy of the engine? Anyone out there with info, We can use some help/advice.....

    I had a vw beetle with about 500k on it. Had nothing to do with the engine being good. Had to do with it being an easy rebuild.
