Im considering trading my 2nd gen in for a 3rd gen.

Can I remove my accessory rail thats on the cab end of the bed and install onto a 3rd gen (which doesnt have one)?

And instead of making a separate post, if I buy a truck without a factory hard tonneau cover, is it a big deal to install one?

Since it requires different bed rails. Thanks

Yes. It’s very common to install the 2nd gen head rail on a 3rd gen. I have it on mine.
