I have a toytec boss coil-over (on my 2014 TRD sport) that needs to be taken into the shop to get un-seized. I can't get the allen head release screw to budge, so before I really bone myself, im going to take it in. While they are taking out the stock uppers too, I thought I might as well upgrade. whose got the best bang for ya buck with a budget of around $500? I have heard good things about JBA UCA's, but still looking around. I offroad a bit, but nothing hard when I do, the beaches of Houston, and some trails in Austion (soon!!)

    Thanks in advance guys!

Lot's of people like to go with JBA or SPC as reasonably priced options.

Go JBA. I have spc and I think I’m having bushing issues.

The more I look at JBA, the better they look, plus that red would match the toytec red haha

What are these Austin trails you’re speaking of!?!?

I don’t own them, but I’m looking hard at the dirt king ball joint UCAs. They’re only 550, Tubular, and have higher caster than oem

I love my JBAs. I was able to get 4.1 degrees of caster and my steering feels much more stable now, less darting back and forth on bumps.

Turns out my truck had at least 5-year-old SPC's on it (put on by the guy I bought it from)! No wonder it rode/sounded like shit! Got the JBA's installed this morning, loving them so far! The shop I went to couldn't get the toytec boss coilovers un-seized... So sounds like sooner rather than later some new coilovers are coming down the line!
