I got mine in with a lot of really bad words. I didn't break any pins but I file out one a little (damn little) of the angled hooks on the driver side.
That got it in. Everything works. Dome light was easy.

If there is any constructive criticism, feel free to let me know! I always want to improve my products. My concern with opening the hole up larger on the snap clip is it would be loose and not "click" in like factory. If the OEM plastic in the overhead console was a little more rugged, I thnk it would be perfect.

Not criticing, just an observation. I have done horrible installs before, not this truck. These were not bad.
Yeah the pins on the truck side are pretty weak.

The white dome is aggressively bright but makes such a difference when getting in at night and actually being able to see things! Glad I got the dual maps, the straight-up white probably would have been too bright to use while driving!

Install was casual, but one of the lights didn't like turning on while all the way in, took some shenanigans and bending the lead a little bit but it's all good now!

Thanks for the input! The all white maps are super bright, especially since there are 2 LED boards per side. Having some red is a good balance. I’ve had a few other instances where the pin on the bulb adapter gets skewed and had to be aligned straight before reinserting. So I came up with a new adapter that should address this. I broke a couple of mine.:(
They might've been a bit brittle from the cold too. I just couldn't wait to put them on..

What he said was hilarious, “ I thought you worked on lights for a living” that’s a low blow but a funny one,

And I found out the Meso sticker works perfect in this cut out, don’t even need to use the sticky side but my 2015 dosent have a clock there image.jpg

Make sure you get them left/right correct L/R printed into the backside of each map.

I did thanks. I’m really pleased with the lights and the quality of @mesojdm products. Not so much with myself for being an impatient buffoon with getting them in during the colds temps in my area or those who took pleasure or jest in my misfortune during my less than optimal install.

That dubious pleasure only partially offsets my own buffoonery. Just pay it foward to the next semi-fortunate soul. I'm still not sure if I have mine L/R correct but since they work and were so hard to snap in I'm unwilling to risk breaking them to check. I love them so there's no reason to.

We’ve all done it, got the parts, we’ve been waiting for months only to rush the install and snap a bolt or break an expinsive tool and now your install just triple in price, we’ve all been there and done that
