@mesojdm any idea when the dual color map lights will be back in stock. I’m on the email list but wanted a time frame to keep looking.

Yeah guys, I’m working on dual colors. Also will have some single color maps soon.(red and white) making them as fast as I can

 

Mr Meso I have a idea for the next bluetooth version of the map lights. Could you angle the led's toward the passenger on the passenger side more and maybe be able turn each led on or off in pattern?
My wife tried to knit on the way into town but the white half is too bright for me to drive. I switched to red but still too bright.
So I taped more than half of the led's with tape to tone down the brightness a lot.

 

I've got a set of white 2nd gen map lights that I will sell if Im not on duty and can finally buy dual maps!

So how long has someone left on the dual maps and or the dome light? I’ve left a red dome light on for about 8 minutes, that son bih got hot as fuck, normal, just don’t touch the LEDs they’ll burn

I’ve left my red dual map light on for about 15 mins that also gets hot but not that bad,

I keep it on while I drive at night,

 

wow spoke to soon I left my dual map light on all night in my garage

Everything felt cool when I touched it and it’s fine.....

Just wondering if this is possible, could totally just be an availability of materials issue, but is it possible to create the dual colored lights to have like a 70/30 (white/red) split so that the red lights are not as bright? Could just be some of the images posted and their exposures, but the red lights seem to be really bright for a night-light.

Again, could just be me talking out of my ass, just a thought though. They look awesome either way!

Y’all are crazy, I have had a whit set red set and a dual set finally if your that wooried don’t complain here just put some tape over the top photo black tape is the best, very expinsive but let’s zero light through

 

Just buy my one white map light and one red, I don’t want to sell them, but there just sitting in my drawer

 

i thought i was the only one, i dont even use the driver side light, just turn on the passenger and it takes care of the whole front by itself.
