It's not the wiring. It's like the dimensions were off when it was 3D printed. It fits in there rather tight and when I press it to activate it, the entire thing stays depressed and the light does not activate. When I take the entire piece out, leaving the wiring installed, and push the switch to activate it then it works...only when it is installed it does not work correctly.

I certainly did, I do not believe it a user error issue.

Just checking. PM me the order number and what side, I’ll send another. Usually my 3D prints are spot on for dimensions, but there is always a chance of something.

I see @mesojdm is taking care of you, but also check and see if the little plastic posts in the compartment that hold the light in place are bent. That can cause friction leading to the problem you’re describing.

Got my dome light installed yesterday and tested early this morning. Man is it bright! I’m mad that I wasted time and money on other LED’s. These products really are the best and brightest out there!

I had this same problem when I put mine in long ago. It was 100% user error. If those little pegs don’t clip in just right then it won’t work.

I blame the weak ass soft plastic posts inside the light recess. Meso’s material is much stouter.

Yeah they are pretty pitiful. All mine were okay except for one that bit the dust from prior changing to LED bulbs after I got the truck.

PSA: Apparently I'm a complete effin idiot and I did in fact have them installed incorrectly. Once installed correctly they operate normally and much more smooth. My humblest of apologies to @mesojdm!

    How do you remove?

EDIT: Update- just snatched them out with tiny pliers. Install was fine except the front driver side mounting clip failed when I pressed in the new lamp so I'm kind of screwed.

    Mods? Yes, oh yes..
carefully... the reflectors are held in with tension from the reflector itself on a post. they are easy to break, especially if they are older and brittle. gently work it back and forth while pulling.

I'd like a set of red/white map lights when they are in stock again
