Yeah, that comes under the “shit ton of work” to ramp up from a few to enough. I’m glad I got mine when I did even though there have been improvements but with any venture like this there’s risk on both sides whether it be product availability, quality, or service. More often than not it’s a case of get it while you can or hope someone sells theirs. It’s likely that it could have been done faster but it’s also likely that it wouldn’t happen at all. I still hope it works out for all concerned.

I am still patiently waiting for the dual/ultimate dome for a 2nd gen.

Totally satified with my dual map lights. No issues so far. However, the truck doesn’t get driven much these days.

Same. I was fortunate enough to grab the dual map lights for my second gen a couple of years ago and absolutely LOVE them. Love them so much, I want the red dome light setup. Best I can do is just sign up on the mailing list and cross fingers.

Some of the stuff you make is awesome. I would imagine you are going to be focusing on gen 3 products these days?

Larger profit margins. Is your answer. Quit selling yourself short. Plenty of us have been waiting more than a year. Your product is worth more than your selling it for. Also I’ve seen your truck so I imagine a lot of the little profit you make goes there, nothing wrong with that either. But a good business model will account for both, hence 95% of the items on your site wouldn’t always show not in stock. Looking forward to seeing these 2nd gen maps/domes.

same here! Went with a red dome before since the front when white are bright AF bit a dual or ultimate setup that was referenced would be dope.

Have been using the standard single LEDs, one side red one white, be nice to have both in one and as bright.

clever workaround. Def nice. The newer versions I think he had in the 3rd gens should be much nicer if they make their way to the 2nd gen. The only problem I have on mine is the adhesive from the LEDS has loosened a bit. Also my Dome tends to not be a tight fit as I would like, I have to pop it back in form time to time. I recalls some posts it was brought up. Hopefully fixed into a bad ass new version.

This is a good example of the “China” problem we’re facing (assuming you’d prefer buying American made products, which most of us do). If meso had to charge $100 for a map light, he’d be out of business.

Another example of why it’s important to... pay attention.

True but maybe half my led rows wouldn’t be out in my maps and dome already.

I bet he wouldn’t. And at his current production rate, he’s not really a business, it’s his hobby.

The red side of my ultimate maps have completely stopped working on one side and started failing on the other. The white has started failing on the one that the red is dead on too. I bought them last year in the spring I believe and the Taco is my secondary vehicle, so they really didn't last that long.

Lol, true but with that being said the light output it about right so I’ve never complained.... but if they continue to go out at this rate and go completely out I’m gonna be pissed.

I’m convinced that auto dimming “fade to black” thing the dome light does isn’t doin’ the LED’s any favours.

This is probably more than likely what it is. The fading is actually the voltage getting dropped off from 12 to 0 over that time frame. Electric components that aren't designed for lesser voltage tham operating do not like it, it's worse than over voltage. They do make LEDs that will withstand that but they have to be rated for it.
