    Ok so this is a true story. Hit the road early this morning from Orange County my brother lives in big pine which is where I am writing this from. Wife needed alone time, she’s also 5 months pregnant, so my3 yr old and I were trucking it. Around 5:30 am I had to #2. I didn’t feel ok leaving my daughter in the car during the time so I waited. Once we were out in the middle of God’s Country I pulled off. Popped a @mesojdm red map light as I hung on to the door sill. It worked amazingly.

    Just giving some real life feed back. Great coverage.

    I'm sitting here like an asshole waiting for an email with tracking info. I started seeing all these posts about receiving lights. I decided to check my PayPal account and there was the tracking number.
    :facepalm:

    Click the link and USPS says it was delivered today. I had checked earlier but just kind of opened the lid to the mailbox and didn't look all the way inside since I didn't see any of the junk coupons and mailers. I go out to check again and there are my lights all alone at the bottom of my mailbox.

    usps is killling me! seems my maps moved no wheres from 2am yesterday till this morning.
    maby 40 minutes away?! thats crazy. there never consistsnt.

    read back a few pages. yes they are VERY bright.
    i switched to the duals to see if red would be a little better at night on the eyes..
    They are a hair too bright for me but i like them so im going to keep. would a tad less bright be nice yes.
    but who knows what the plans are for a less brighter set up. meso already warned in the first post they are VERY bright

    I'd rather have Too bright rather than useless. I couldn't even find change or anything I dropped on a black floor mat. If you find them too bright just switch on one light. :)

    well, bright is good and all but I don't want to have to wear sunglasses or kill my eye's night adjustment if I use the map/dome lights at night. That's why I was asking for opinions.

    Before I mess something up with my dome light let me just ask the pros. What is the little black piece that comes with the dome light? Is it needed? I watched the tacomahaulics video and I didn’t see that black piece on his dome light.... hmmmm

    It clips to the back of the light. once you remove your stock lense, you’ll see where and why.
