It is always first come first serve. The demand is so large that it is a "get them when you can get them." Tagging him is not going to make him build them faster.....:deadhorse:

That’s nice! I don’t know if my red dome is that bright or not.

I got admit my older LED dome doesn't have anything on the new MESO one. I was scared that maybe I would want the possible dual option for the dome, but I think white will be perfect for me as Im always trying to see what the mess is in the back.

I'm dissecting my red dome and painting the bezel matte black. Then I'll remove the white dome and move the light panels over to the black bezel and red ones back to the gray bezel. Then...........????????????? keep for a spare or schwag for a fellow TTC member at a meet or somethin like that.....Not gettin my TW coins!

That's some risky madness, but I applaud treading in uncharted lands.

    Hey guys
Weird issues here. I am at work so I haven’t been able to investigate thoroughly however my dome light stopped working all of a sudden. It won’t manually turn on nor will it turn on when I open the doors anymore. Ideas?

I assume you already took off the dome light and played with the little connector underneath? Depending on how you drive, maybe it got disconnected? You could always see about getting a small stock bulb for the dome and test the existing contacts that way to see if it lights up as well.

Thanks! This style light will always dominate a “drop in led bulb”
Yup! Since the 3D panels are thin and flexible gently bend it and you will get one side out of the LED board. Then the other side slips out and you are golden. I made them this way for easier assembly and LED serviceability.
easiest thing would be to check the dome fuse first. Not sure the location on the 2nd gens, bun On TUrds it’s down in the drivers kick panel. If fuse checks out, then pop the new dome light out and check connection. Finally if all else fails, pop the OEM bulb back in to test the dome circuit. Let me know what you find, if it’s in fact the dome light(rare) I’ll swap it for ya.

I have the white dome light installed right now. I put in my red dome light and it worked. White does not. Can’t see any damage to the unit.

Well that solves half the problem. Sounds like it might be defective though.

Check the wire connections at the part that connects to the bullet looking thing. The silver ends pull off. One of my wires lost contact so I just had to readjust it. I was a little worried but got it to work again.

since the festoon thing is adjustable, it may be implanted into my car's dome light with just wiring/led panels and just have a gray and a black bezel for the truck light.

So these silver end caps can be pulled off
    963168E5-5CC3-4430-BB4E-B949AEB7B23D.jpg
Bullet is the first thing that came to mind, I don’t know what it’s actually called.

Anyway the wire is bare at the tip underneath and it supposed to be held in place by the silver end cap with the exposed wire laying flush against the side making contact with the silver cap.

One of my wires for some reason had pulled out a little bit and was not making contact underneath the cap (only reason I was able to figure this out was by slowly pulling both sides off and comparing them).

Once I readjusted so both exposed parts of the wires were making contact it worked again.
