2nd Gen Utility Bed rails

Question here. I got a 2008 Tacoma Trd Sport Long bed. I recently purchased a soft topper but i need to buy some new utility bed rails for the left and right hand sides of the bed. Now im a little confused because i cant find the rail dimensions anywhere. What i have found is short or long. I have the long bed. but the rails only show years 2010 and up for the tacomas. My question would be is there any difference in a 2008 long bed vs a 2010 long bed? My only thought would be maybe the mounting points have different dimensions.
