    Really? I actually have them and I'm going to install them later today. But... I've looked at probably five or six different 2.5s and the gap looks extremely small on most of them, Even with the rubber there. My coworker has one, and the gap on his truck is pretty wide but I think he was in an accident a while ago.

    Pretty sure its the vertical grill support bracket that goes behind the latch. Maybe it brings the grill up higher to meet the hood?

    In any case, I might have a spare one, that you can have for just shipping. If you want it..
