2nd gen wheels fit 98 1st gen?

    Shift Sense Pro, HomeLink Mirror, Screen Protector, Tinted Windows, Now onto the expensive stuff
    i need two front tires. I found a guys selling 4 stock 4Runner wheels with tires. Tires have about 50% tread left. Will these 16” rims with stock tires fit on my older 98? They are 6 lug. I didn’t know if brakes or something would be in the way. It would be a quick, cheap fix for now. The 15” stock rims that came on my 98 nor these used ones are staying on the truck for long. I just don’t want to spend money for two new front tires when I won’t need them in 6 months. I can get these used 16’s for $100. I can’t even find a used tire with as much tread left for under $50 each.

    Yes. All Toyota 6x5.5 wheels are inter compatible.

    Backspacing will be different but probably won’t be an issue.

    Keep the backspacing in mind. Second gen wheels have better BS than the third gen wheels, which I’m running on my truck.
