Fronts done. 2016 Sports shocks and coils. I added a one inch spacer. Got 2 inches and a little brother lean. Hopefully next week I will get the rear done. After

Found both Sport and OR 2016 suspensions for sale in my area. Anyone have an opinion on which is better? I was looking for a small lift and my suspension is really beat down on my 2012 with 90k miles.

Buy sport for a firmer road ride. Buy off road if you want a softer ride and go off roading.

Any reason to buy a set of 2016 UCAs? Guy has them for sale, but I don't see the point and they are a different part number (not sure they would work). My plan is to do 2016 TRD pro OR shocks, struts, and coils. I just bought a very slightly used set of 2016 leaf springs as mine are super worn out, gonna add a aal.

No need. I have my orginal UCA with a 1 inch spacer and it aligned just fine.

I'm looking at a set of 9k miles TRDOR springs and 4 shocks for a good deal.
Question is the front coilovers are disassembled so I'd need to install the springs back onto the front shocks.

Should I have any hiccups with this?
What about preload? Just trying to make it as bolt off and on as possible.

After install ill have an alignment done, just factory specs or are there magic numbers with those who have swapped these coilovers?

    2010 regular cab 4wd.

You will not have any issues. I would have a shop assemble them and do the install yourself if you feel comfortable with the work. My alignment went fine, except for a seized cam bolt up front, very common with these trucks.

We have a spring compressor, what else would we need?
Seems like a stupid simple answer here but its been years since I swapped suspension on anything

Please refer to my picture, what is there is what the shop gave the guy back after the shop installed a lift kit.
    Am I missing anything?

Bump. My understanding is the rear shocks will be a breeze, off and on reusing their bolts.
I can't find a solid answer on if it'll be worth it to swap leaf springs as well.

Mine are the TSB 4 pack not 3 months old.

The front coilovers after I have the springs re-installed, ill be able to simply remove the original front coilovers and place the TRD ones in re-using the bolts? The "top plate" will be re-used?

You will have to disassemble the old and reuse the top plate or buy new ones.

I am on a 2015 2wd prerunner. What kind of lift would I get with the OR spring & coils? Also should I do anything else with them like the lean spacer?

Was eyeballing 5100's but thought this could be a better ride with a little lift.

    around 1.5"
I didn't do the lean spacer, but I did do 1/4" top plate spacers for a bit more lift.
The only real reason to do this lift is the cost. Find some near new 3rd gen takeoffs for cheap and have at it.

Somewhat off topic, are 3rd gen upper control arms same as 2nd gen?

Will the 3rd gen Limited suspension give the 1" lift up front. I found a good deal on the front and rear limited shocks and I haven't seen or heard of anyone using them on a second gen. Anyone have any thoughts or opinions on the 3rd gen limited setup?
I don't do any hard core off roading, mostly forestry road and hunting camp roads.
