So... you don't own a truck but want to know if it'll fit under a 6'11" garage door. I'd suggest you take a tape measure with you when you go shopping for trucks and don't buy any truck that's over 6'11" tall.

Truck shopping sucks, I wouldnt want to waiste my time or a sellers time checking out a truck that wouldnt even fit in my garage. Its much easier just to ask others that have lifted trucks.

Thankfully a few cool guys answered me, while other have their heads far up their ass .

It was a simple question, didn't think the details were necessary . Would you like to know what im wearing to ?? geez...

Think about what your saying right now , why would I ask if I already had a truck with a lift ??

Yeah, who would want to waste time making sure a truck was right for the person buying it.... what a waste of time, I like to run up to the dealership waiving cash around and telling them to give me the first set of keys they can reach!

Understood now let me point out the flaw in your little 'just ask someone else and hope I get the right answer' tactic. A truck with a 3" lift might be different heights depending on tire size or maybe a roof rack, if it has a shell, etc.

Simpliest answer, bring a tape measure with you when looking at trucks vs. taking the word of a bunch of strangers on the interwebz.

Take a look at the form a little ways up, I have a feeling you're going to need it frequently if you're this bent out of shape over a tape measure comment...

You are clearly a ray of warming sunshine in an otherwise cruel and uncaring world. Yours is a personality that lifts the spirits of everyone in the room as soon as you walk through the door. All in your company surely feel the embrace of your soothing radiance.

Right, I would obvioulsy still measure it to be sure . But I figured it didnt hurt to ask before I took a 1hr drive to check out a truck.

For example my neighbor has a sweet new gmc sierra, he installed some nice sliding aluminum ladder racks on the back. But now the truck wont fit in his garage, racks are just a tad to tall..
