    Yeah I'm running 4.88s. And it depends on how fast I drive on the interstate. I like to do 80 and will get about 14. If I drop down to 70 I'll get about 18. Around town I can average 20. I also drive slow around town and try and save gas. Interstate is a different story.

    Okay, with that said - and before I ask, I do understand alignment has a lot to do with it - ..... Did you have to chop up/ trim your firewall? I would like to know, by account, the cleanest way to accommodate 37s. I'm thinking of tubbing sections of the firewall and fender support... I've got a 1" body lift and think anything more would be tarded'.....

    ADS extended travel, 14" 700 lb springs, Total Chaos UCA/LCA, Dakars. 37/12.50r17 Pitbull Radial Rocker. SCS 17" SR8. 4.56s with f&r ARB lockers. Relentless sliders, full skids, debadged. 35% tint on all windows. Katzkin leather w/ heated seats
    The alignment has to do with the caster angle. The factory cams push the tire forward to get positive caster. Aftermarket uca push the tire back to get positive caster. Best to max out caster in that scenario. Another option (what I've done) is to get aftermarket lca. They are not cheap but definitely help with pushing the tire forward. On to the trimming... I've already trimmed my flares and fender for 35s and had to do only a little bit more for 37s. I can send pics if you want them. I relocated my body mounts and tubbed the firewall. As a reference, there is a bolt at the bottom of the fender. That's where I've seen most people cut back to. You can see it in this picture. 20180720_225838.jpg

    Lift will also have a lot to do with how much you have to trim. My buddy nick is running close to 4 inches on long travel and only had to rub his fire wall about an inch or so. (He is also running factory body mount)
    I'm running 2 inches or less of lift and cut everything out and relocated my body mount.

    Not to be one of those guys but.... that's long travel vs std length. I completely agree that long travel completely changes what you have to cut. Your height of lift doesn't really matter unless you are talking about street use only. I could put my factory coilovers back on and still not rub. My bump stops are in the same location regardless of lift.

    Very true, he is also running dmaftermarket bump stops. When I was factory length running 37s i had to cut my fire wall and cut my cab mount to the bolt and trim fenders.

    I pulled my coilovers and compressed the suspension all the way then cut 1" past where the tire touched so I ended up cutting 2.5" out of the fender well and fire wall then plated it back in with sheet metal. I dont feel I needed to cut that much but i shouldn't rub any. Haha
