    hears what I'm running,
17x9 with -6 offset. yes the tires rub on the control arms. I was afarid this might happen so hence the -6 offset. some time I have to install the 1" spacers which will make that offset -31 which may be worse for the bearings. I dont know. the next bearing I install i did this to it. Ill see if it makes a diffrence. bottom pic shows how they come new

I was replacing bearings every year. I ran expensive and cheap. Both lasted about the same. (Yes I torqued them) then I went to full hydro steering and I was replacing them every 4th wheeling trip. 4psi and all the pressure of steering kills them

So what's your plan from here?
Are you gong to try something different on your steering?

Get a napa pre-assembled wheel bearing assembly with lifetime warranty, and just swap it when needed. Takes around an hour if you're taking your time.

Interesting, ive only killed 1 bearing and thats partially because i dont run seals on that side. But i do replace steering heims every 4 trips or so.

Just curious as to how many miles you drive a year.

just guessing about 15k a year. I have the wheelbearing I repacked with more grease, installed on the drivers side so I'm going to see if that makes a diffrence. I'm expecting by spring of 2024 to replace them again so lets see.

A repack with a top synthetic wheel bearing grease certainly wouldn’t be a bad idea here… just needs to compatible with the plastic cage.

I’m messing around with some silly ideas to vastly improve the durability… as I’m sure most here know, the issue isn’t the diameter, rather it’s the narrow width between the inner and outer. The thing here, is that it requires changing so many other parts in order to implement the design, the initial buy in won’t be cheap. The only reason to go this route would be to keep the speed sensor ring.

I just had bad luck. But also mud was involved with every trip. Gotta love the east coast

Specs on how you achieved that please

does having no bumper or aftermarket bumper help with pushing the wheel as forward as possible help from hitting the wheel well? Are the wheel wells tubbed? Wheels specs (backspacing etc)?

    much appreciated

    Wheel wells are tubbed
    JD fabrication inner fenders
JD fabrication lower pivot kit (set to 0.5" forward)
    Camburg long travel setup
I limited jounce condition slightly to prevent going into the headlight area. The bumper remained the same but yes trimming will need to be done if it wraps around. I'm sure everyone on here can attest to how much work it takes to truly fit 37s.

Anyone running these nitto 37x11.5r17? Curious to see how well these would tuck compared to a 37x12.5 or 37x13.5. :sawzall:

Ran Holy Cross with my 38's. They did great on the trail! Though I was a little worried, because I don't have beadlocks, and accidently went to about 7-8psi.

    Just about rolled it here...
