Started chopping away at the driver side this past weekend. Still need to cut a tad but more off the firewall, up top, and in front to clear at full bump/lock. Hoping the passenger side goes a little more smooth after getting the driver side figured out

What are the best solutions these days for beefing up the rear end for 37s? I would ideally like something that's as bolt in a possible, and not too heavy since weight is the devil on a stock 4.0.

The front range diamond axle looks like it fits the bill: https://frontrangeoffroadfab.com/tacoma-9-5-diamond-axle-upgrade-05-bolt-in/

Any others to consider? I don't think currie makes their bolt in for tacoma any more.

As far as bolt in goes you have this from ecgs as well.

Call them and they will hook you up

I currently have 37's in the garage, going to have the firewall and inner fender's tubbed for full travel. Staying mid travel too

This thread is dangerous and I love it. I’ve quite literally been watching this thread for years and finally committed but now I’m on a 3” lift and 37s.
I’m mid travel up front and a custom LT set up in the rear. The rear has 12” flip shackles and tucked hangers (both my design), 16” triple bypass shocks, SUA Deaver H70HD and a custom bed cage.
The only thing special up front is really the BTF high caster LCAs, BM relo, delta joint UCAs and JD fab billet tie rods. The coilovers are set to about half (maybe 2 inches of lift). Already did some tubing up front around the body mount but I need to do some more. There is no rubbing on the street but offroad they do rub and I knew I’d have to cut more. Took a few pictures on some 2x12 ramps I built to quickly show what else I’ll have to cut (rear bumper, in front of the tires, and top of inner fender need to be modified). Gearing is 4.88 and it drives fine. I was honestly worried about the loss of power and torque bc I remember going to 35s on stock gears and it was a slug. Was thinking I’d super charge it after the 37s but honestly it’s fine, it has plenty of get up IMO. Stock steering rack for now.

edit: just did my first fuel up after recalibration the hypertech. Got 12.1 mpg if anyone’s curious, which is about what I was getting before on 315s.

I think I’m finally done with trimming the front fender. Not much more to take out.

Before and after. You can see where I cut past the old fender holes. Also kinda mull how much I could have saved if I went with 5 of my spares vs the 4 Pro XS’s. As the Badak looks capable, and was a lot cheaper.

Just had mine tubbed for the 37's, I'll have to trim the flares some more. Rubs the body mount slightly otherwise I'm happy with it. Have yet to take it off-road.
