You will really need to sit in them to determine what you think. I had a 2008 which had comfy seats but my 2015 had seats that looked exactly the same but nowhere near as comfortable. My 2017 falls somewhere in the middle, the new 2020 has power seats which would give a wider range of adjustments.

Seat comfort is very subjective. Some people say the seats in both gens are uncomfortable. My 2008 was comfortable and my 2016 and 2017 were both comfortable. My 2020 has adjustable leather seats and I really like them. Personally, I lean slightly towards the 3rd gen seats. But, like I said, it’s very subjective. A test drive will give you the best answer.
