Thats alot over the full level. Compression ok? The oil fill cap does it have any chocolate milk shake looking stuff on the bottom? Maybe gas flooded engine oil. Not good for bearings. You should change your oil ASAP.

The engine on modern cars is a sealed unit meaning that excess oil and vapor HAS to go somewhere. It is either in liquid form in the crankcase or a vapor in suspension in the crankcase or cylinder head. I bet that the excess oil vapor is being introduced in the intake manifold via the PCV valve and is being burned, or trying to be burned in the motor. Replace the PCV valve and lower the oil level and drive her and see what happenes.

That's what I read somewhere else too . I'll take a look at it whenever I get a break from work lol. And the fluid I saw that day wasn't there when I first pulled the spark plug from that cylinder. Also relooked over the wires and they're still in good condition.

I just got the P0304 code on my 2003 V6 (misfire in cylinder 4). I had the same symptoms. On a cold start every time I shifted it would hesitate and then smooth out. Once my engine was up to temp it ran fairly well though. I'm taking it to Toyota tomorrow and see what they say. My best guess they will replace my spark plugs and wires (which is what I'm hoping fixes it). Next step would be coils. I'll let you know how it goes

What did you actually do to test that the wires are still good?

I just looked them over when I pulled them out . Haven't had time to test them myself or anything.

You can't tell if the wires are good just by looking at them. You can measure resistance, but even if they are within specs a wire can still be bad.

Update: Dropped my truck off at the dealership this morning and within an hour he called and said the spark plugs were crap and he is going to replace them and hopefully that will fix the misfire. If it's not that I'm fucked
