CA16BEBA-9F7F-4041-8E26-E6AABD707FDE.jpg Does anybody know if this is an updated part? Photo is a replacement next to origonal, the replacement includes a flap, wondering if the screen sits inside replacement ring.

    Is that OEM or aftermarket?

The current OEM gasket doesn't have the metal part. It's just a rubber ring (no flap). When I cleaned my throttle body this past summer, I bought a Fel-pro gasket. The part number according to their website was correct, but it was too small. It had the metal grid like the OEM gasket. I picked up a gasket from Toyota, and it was just a rubber ring, no flap and no metal grid.

09B8F980-D463-47B5-A003-F137B78EB96E.jpg Awesome! thanks for the feedback, I believe its a factory/genuine part, I purchased a gasket kit on ebay (only because he gave me 20% off), but it seems some are genuine some are Felpro, I would imagine the flap would cut down air flow? The crank seal that came with the kit for the cam chain cover also had a defect, I’ll post a pic, shitty way to start the week. To top it off, another vender (I dont wanna put anyone on blast) sent me an injector seat/cup without the o-ring, so its already a shitty start to the week. It almost seems like the screen needs to be removed and set into the replacement O-ring. Hmm

Yeah. That flap is going to be a big restriction. I'd trim it off.
