Alright so I've had it installed for a day or 2 now. Just haven't had time to wash my engine bay so everyone can get a better look at it.

    AFTER

    BEFORE
    IMG_2591.jpg

Quick things that you should know(Some have already been addressed)
    - Studs are too short. Seller fixed
    - Bottom 2 studs that are bolted under the Manifold will no longer line-up, instead it will be support studs holding it up.
    - Transmission Fluid Dipstick bracket will need to Bent/modified to bolt back on securely.
    - You will need new brackets for the Air Cover, if you want it to be secure again.

I didn't really feel like waiting/buying new studs so I chopped off the ends of the old stud and welded them onto the new studs as an extension.

    Misc Pics
    IMG_2596.jpg

I had an easier time getting to the 2 bottom Manifold bolts from the wheel well.

Do I feel any change in Torque/Performance? I do feel it pull a little harder low end, but not much. Do bare in mind that I'm already geared at 4.56 so my Torque curve is already up there. Being that this design is based of Tooter's I'm pretty confident it made minor improvements. Don't expect it to push back into your seat whenever you step on it:burnrubber:

Thank you OP for getting this Spacer going again after Tooter stopped producing them.

Lol You're welcome! And good write up, thank you! I didn't have an issue with the dipstick bracket though? I'll have to check it out again. And yes, it's definitely not a turbo or anything. But a noticeable difference I thought, having the trio (header, intake, and spacer). Also stock gears on 32's. I don't typically rev past 3k either, so I'm getting both torque curve surges (1500+, and 2500+). I'm sure results will vary based on what other parts are on the truck (stock vs intake, header, flywheel, gears, etc.), and of course how people drive. If you're shifting at 6k running the wheels off it, you're probably not going to notice much.

Got mine today. Thanks mate. The envelope used, just be careful of that type used in the future. I don't think any pieces were missing, but it had a couple good sized holes punched into it, from being chucked over the border by the posties.

My install will come with better weather - it's miserable to be doing in the driveway at this time.

I will be interested in other's results, as they come in. I know @SamGoingHam is already overgeared, and thus enjoys a low-end torque advantage already. I'm only slightly over-geared in comparison. I don't have any intake changes to date, and will be looking into that as an additional factor, to see if the stock setup is still delivering enough volume.

Awesome! Yes, I was a bit concerned about the envelope also, but I didn't have much choice. I'm glad everything made it safely! Well there are definitely some updates on here, so be sure and read through everything before you get started. Good luck and I hope you see good results! Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Good! I'm glad to hear you are happy with it! I too am very pleased with the results. Do you have any other mods done to your truck?

It will be the same as before the spacer was added. The spacer just lowers the torque and fattens it up in a couple places.

UPDATE: The Spacer is an awesome upgrade for the money. I can feel the difference in the “get up and go.” I don’t have dyno print outs or specific statistics for the performance increase but the truck feels a lot smoother, more response and overall adds a nice touch to the pedal. Thank you @tjhall36 for the fast shipping, answering all my hideous questions hahaha. My mechanic said it was an easy install and the 2 hoses are simple finds. Labor was very affordable. If you’re thinking about this upgrade/modification spacer it’s well worth it and you can feel the performance increase while daily driving. Five stars on price point, quality, shipping, directions, support and performance increase.

aren’t you moving to Australia? Why buy a new truck now? Keep the single cab dude. And I thought you couldn’t get dclb standard?

Thank you! I really couldn't agree with you more after I installed the spacer myself. You literally took the words right out of my mouth! Lol I'm very happy to hear that you are happy with the spacer kit, and with the results! And you are more than welcome, seriously. Happy driving, thanks again!

There a two in the entire United States. They want over 38k for them before tax. Thats a lot. Like a whole lot. I don't know man I am on the fence. But then I think...I really want a land cruiser....and if I was to buy one over there....it would be a single cab. I just want to be able to tow a nice camper. I wish I could just do an engine swap. I have been talking to urd about a supercharger too. I don't know what to do.
