2TR-FE oil type?

    TSB x 2 because first TSB leaf springs broke
    I'm running M1 0W30 since 2007 - there's an issue with the timing chain in these, so when I run 5W30 it doesn't like it and makes noise at startup... I have to replace the timing chain at around $4k to make the sound stop, or I keep running 0W all year (it's Oregon, it's never that hot) but I had considered the 20 weight due to my timing chain noise at start up.

    Sounds like you have an engine problem then. I doubt the oil is the culprit.
