I put the LCE header on my 2tr-fe and drove it for a coupla hundred miles before getting back under the hood to re-torque all the nuts.

One of the studs stripped out and either needs to be replaced or have the threads re-cut.

I keep hearing that the stud should come out pretty easy with the E socket end, and I did put some penetrating oil on the base when I installed the header, but I’m wondering if any one has experience they can share doing this. Last thing I want to do is break the stud or strip the threads in the block.

Never mind. It was a piece of cake with the right tool.
