2tr-fe turbo from 2rz engine

There is an ad near me for some turbo parts and one of them is an intake manifold from a 2rz engine. I have a 2tr-fe and was wondering if it is possible to use. I understand the engines are from two different families but they are both Toyota 4 cyl and it never hurts to ask.

 

No the manifold will not work. The 2rz is a 2.4, the 3rz is 2.7 and its manifold wouldn't work on a 2tr either.

Well, to flip that remark upside down... everything can be made to work with anything else. You can make the manifold and turbo charger from a bulldozer work on a Tacoma, as long as you are patient and have good fabrication skills.

But since the question that was MEANT probably involved a direct bolt up, other provided answers should stand.
